How Time Capsule Works

Pick the Size

We have 3 sizes of the Time Capsule for you to choose from. The smallest one can fit 2 of the following (each is an “item”): 50 photos, 1 video tape, 1 film reel, and 1 digital media device.

Send Us Your Memories

You will receive your Time Capsule with instructions to activate and help package your memories. Pack everything you need and ship it to us. A pre-paid shipping label is included.

3.

Voila! Enjoy Your Memories

You will be notified once your digitized memories have been added to your Google Photos library. If you ordered a USB or DVD output, you will receive it along with your original media.

When you digitize your memories with Capture, we want to make sure you are happy with the results. If you are not 100% satisfied, you can return it to us for reprocessing.

What can you digitize?

In short, we digitize all formats of old media, including tapes, film reels, photos and more. Here is a list of the formats we accept:

•Video: VHS, S-VHS, Betamax, VHS-C, S-VHS-C, Video8, Hi-8, Digital8, DV, DVCAM, MiniDV, DVC

•Film: 8 mm, Super 8 mm, 16 mm

•Photos (2" x 2" up to 8" x12 "), various slides (35 mm, Super 35 mm, 110, 126, 127, 127 Superslide, 120/220 Medium Format)

•Various negatives: 35 mm, ASP Film, 110 Film, 110/220 Film, 126 Instamatic film, large negatives.

•Digital media: Secure Digital (SD), Smart Media (SM), MultiMediaCard (MMC), Compact Flash (CF), xD-Picture Card, USB Drive, CD/DVD

How long will it take to get my digitized memories?

You will receive your completed order in about 4 weeks (includes processing and return shipping) from the time we receive your media; it will include your originals and any Digital Copy, USB, or DVD you ordered.

Will my original items be returned?

Your original media and containers will be returned with your completed order.

I ordered a Time Capsule Kit, but I need to add more items. What should I do?

No problem! Please add additional items in the kit. We will invoice you at the rate of $18 per additional item added.

What will I receive?

First of all, you will receive the original media you mailed to us. You will also receive a digital copy of each media in a downloadable format, plus any additional devices you ordered, such as a USB thumb drive and DVDs.
