Why add an album title and estimated media date

Album Title

The album title will be used to help you identify the digitized memories. Depending on your outputs, it will be used as follows:

• Digital Copy: MemoryCloud and Google Photos album title
• USB: file or folder name on USB
• DVD: printed on the disc surface and the cover sheet

Estimated Media Date
The estimated media date will be passed to Google Photos along with your digitized memories. Google Photos will use this information to organize your timeline. If you don't know the exact date of when the media was taken, please provide an estimate. You can just enter the year or year and month. If your media was taken over a period of time, you can enter the earliest date. You can also add or change this date in your Google Photos library after the media is uploaded.
